Some days feel like a day in heaven

Welcome to the 21st century.
Welcome to the world we live in.
Welcome to a quiet place in my part of the world.

I call it Melbourne. Some call it Australia.
You call it God's room. I call it emancipation.
I can talk to you there. I can talk to you everywhere.

A little voice you may hear. A little voice may make you crazy.
A soft voice it may be. You should pay heed to, I say.
Sometimes, it can drive you mad. Other times, it may save your life.

"Why do you want it?" some may ask.
"Why should you forgo it?" some may ponder.

Either way, you shall have it.
For I need to talk to you. Should I need to.

Just listen to it.

For it may be the only way for you to talk to me.

A day in history

Some days are born in heaven. Some in hell.
Today was one such day. Neither in hell nor in heaven.
But was it a day? For it was neither.
It was a great day in modern history.

There are times we cherish a friend.
There are times we cherish an opponent.
There are times we come together.
Why? Because we share in a common cause.
Their cause is not ours. Ours is not theirs.
But, today, we shared a victory.
A victory that is theirs, more than ours.
For today is the day they became normal citizens of the world.
That is the way I see it.

Al Qaeda be their name. Fiction or fantasy?
You be the judge.
For they came to be, what they never were before.
For they came to me, when they should have 13 years ago.
For they came to he, when he needed them the most.

For in one leader they trust.
For in one leader they shall rest.
For 10 years, if they can.
For Palestine be ours.
And Israel in our midst.
For they be too, in our eyes, seeking the same perfection as you and I.

For Tamil Eelam is still to be born.
For our victory is yet to be seen.
But for now, we know this.
You are our friend. Just not an ally.
For we seek perfection from you.
Just as I in myself.
For then we can work. Separately. Together. I don't care.
As long as we are pure of heart, we can get there.

We wish you the best in your transition.
For a decade we are told.
For our man in heaven will know.
That you are indeed noble from today.

Thank you for your protection.
I shall do the same.
